Steve Green started in the sheet metal occupation in June of 1966. He worked for a company for 17 years and trained 29 apprentices enrolled at Dunwoody Industrial Institute in 1979 and 1980. Steve too the following classes: mechanical refrigeration repair, pneumatic, electric heat, air conditioning controls, and oil burner service. He has a master license for forced air heating, air conditioning, ventilation, fire place, electric heat, and gas piping. Steve and Cheryl Green opened their own business, Steve Green Heating and Air Conditioning, Incorporated, in 1983. We have a complete sheet metal fabrication shop, service all makes and models, and install complete HVAC systems. Most of our business is because of our good reputation; a large part of our sales are from repeat and referral customers. We sell and install YORK furnaces, air conditioners, rooftop units and indoor air quality products. We also install stainless hoods, make up air units, and exhaust fans for commercial restaurants. We built our new shop on 3rd Avenue SE, Rochester, MN in 1991 and in 29 years of business our sales have increased every year. Cheryl passed away in 2004. Steve has three children and three grandchildren. His son Daniel works in the business with him.
